It has recently come to my attention that I am lacking a special certain “sporty” gene. This is the gene that gives one the ability to scale tall mountains and ride bicycles uphill (even on a 2% grade). Instead I have been blessed with an overabundance of the “nerd” gene. This is the gene that makes one particularly adept at tweeting and other more electronically engaged tasks such as a superfast mobile typing skill that can find Like a Cheesehead videos on youtube quicker than the average bear.
So, you may be asking yourself, “Why the disgusting picture of you eating a banana? What does that have to do with your inability to use your muscles?”.
The photo here represents how to motivate me to do sporty things. By dangling rewards. In this particular case, I was motivated to do a 4-mile hike across a volcanic crater by the reward of a banana on the other side.
Yes, in the end, we are all a bunch of monkeys. Just be happy I haven’t sniffed your butt. Yet.
