I’m pretty sure that all wine should come with a screw cap or in a box.

I’m not saying that wine shouldn’t have corks at all, but for everyday drinking a box of wine isn’t such a bad option. In the past it might have been shunned by connoisseurs, but these days there should be some pretty decent options for sale.

Also, the Aussies are definitely onto something with screwcaps. Especially for me who destroys corks when opening bottles.

BTW, there is no way I would drink the Vella pictured above. One should always be wary of wine that is simply deemed as “red” or “white”.
