I want my frequent flyer miles. Really. I deserve them. I was recently upgraded to a Gold member of Estonian airlines which entitles to me to about next to nothing. I can eat free peanuts and drink vodka in the Servisair lounge (which is the equivalent to Kmart of lounges). And I think I also get to carry on about 1 kilo of extra baggage. Party time.
I have calculated my flight times for the year of 2006.

Grand total of flight hours: 208 hours or 8.66 days
If you calculate in the travel time to the airport, waiting in queues, going through security (especially given the heightened security measures) and then flight delays I would say that it is looking at more like 15 days of travel fun.
Now give me a gold card and some privledges, damn it! Or at the very least I want some plastic pilot wings and a pat on the head from the nice stewardess.
