I’ve been having a little bit of fun with Google Latitude. At 3GSM, I got to track Greg’s whereabouts. As for my whereabouts, it is pretty accurate. In fact, so accurate that I need to be very selective about whom I give access! Try it out on your mobile. And if you are one of my trusted friends, then add me (srobesky at gmail).
These stalker services are a bit frightening and privacy issues need to be thought out to the N’th degree, but for my real world friends and family it could be a little bit of fun to run into each other in random places around the globe.
