I was on the bus driving down Oxford street this morning at approx. 10 am – the time when most high street stores open – when I saw a crazy scene happening outside of the John Lewis store. The security officer opened the door and this mad rush of people started running into the store, shoving each other in a frantic state trying to get to the escalators.
And then I remembered what today is.
The launch of the Nintendo wii here in the UK.
Sadly, I was not one of the lucky ones to get my hands on one of the first wii’s to hit the street. Soon enough…
