Just bought the Devotec Solar Sound bluetooth speakers

via engadget.com I just purchased these speakers. They are almost too good to be true. Solar powered or charge off USB, wireless streaming via Bluetooth and good sound? COME ON. I’ll let you know if they live up to expectations (nothing ever does).

New chairs have arrived

And they are totally awesome. I was bit hesitant about getting them off Ebay, but they turned out even nicer than I imagined.

I go to Japantown a lot and buy these delicious bento boxes. They are great for lunch and dinner and only cost about 5-7 dollars. Bargain!

Bargain of the day – Doughnut ashtray

One of my favourite places to shop in San Francisco is a shop called Ichiban Kan.  It has all kinds of random cheap Japanese stuff.  I found this little ashtray in the bath section.  I'm pretty sure that they didn't know it was an ashtray because it was labeled as a container.  Only $1.50!

Pork rinds trying to pass themselves off as healthy?

I find it odd that pork rinds have a 0 net carbs label on it. Does this mean that if you are on Atkins that you can go nuts on these? It doesn't strike me that the pork rind consumer cares much about such things…
